Learning and Development Manager 

The People and Administration team at Unifonic is on the lookout for a driven and progressive Learning and Development Manager to enable Unifonic’s team to advance their skills and knowledge. In this role, you will be leading the development and implementation of learning strategies, programs, designing E-learning courses, career plans, workshops, and more. You will be also maintaining budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants. The successful candidate should be passionate about helping people learn and grow and should have excellent communication skills. The responsibilities of the Learning and Development Manager will include, but are not limited to: 


  • Create and execute learning strategies and programs. 
  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs. 
  • Design and deliver E-learning courses, workshops, and other pieces of training.
  • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training). 
  • Track learning and training budgets and negotiate contracts. 
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities. 
  • Help managers develop their team members through career pathing.

Requirements

  • Hands-on 7+ years of experience in the Learning and Development function.
  • Solid 4+ years of team management experience with a strong ability to lead teams and to motivate and influence a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
  • Practical experience with designing E-learning platforms and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Professional certification in Learning and Development (e.g. CPLP).
  • Strong business acumen with excellent budgeting, negotiation, analytical, project management, and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
