Our Engineering team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the systems and technologies that drive Unifonic’s solutions. We work closely with other departments to ensure our products and services meet the needs of our customers. If you are passionate about technology and excited about leading teams to deliver cutting-edge communication and engagement solutions, we want you on our team.
As an Infrastructure Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, design, and operation of Unifonic’s non-production environments and CI/CD platform. In this key leadership role, you will drive the evolution of our internal developer experience by building secure, scalable, and efficient systems that empower engineering teams to experiment, deliver, and innovate with speed and confidence.
You will lead cross-functional teams—including cloud platform engineers, DevOps experts, and developer advocates—to architect and operate robust infrastructure that supports continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated workflows. Your work will enable seamless, frictionless development across our engineering organization.
Acting as a catalyst for platform excellence, you will foster strong relationships with developers and stakeholders, ensuring that our internal tools and environments meet the highest standards of usability, performance, and security. By collaborating closely with application teams, security, and business leaders, you’ll ensure our platforms are aligned with organizational needs, enhance productivity, and remove barriers to delivery.
Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping Unifonic’s internal developer platform strategy optimizing workflows, promoting automation, and delivering an environment where engineering teams can thrive.
Help us shape the future of communication by:
Architecting, implementing, and administering secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for development, testing, and preprod environments.
Enforcing security best practices tailored to pre-production contexts, ensuring parity with production standards where appropriate.
Directing initiatives in IAM, network segmentation, and system hardening for non-production assets.
Collaborating closely with Security and DevOps teams to proactively address vulnerabilities and enhance incident readiness within non-production realms.
Overseeing deployment and scaling of multi-environment Kubernetes clusters, with a focus on developer agility and environment isolation.
Designing, maintaining, and continuously evolving CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable, and secure software delivery.
Developing automation and self-service tools empowering developers to leverage Kubernetes, Helm, and Service Mesh in sandboxed environments.
Standardizing and automating provisioning, scaling, and maintenance processes for all data services (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Vertica) within non-production settings.
Documenting operational practices, backup routines, and recovery plans for all pre-production systems.
Championing the evolution and adoption of an internal developer platform - streamlining onboarding, experimentation, and feedback loops.
Leading developer relations initiatives, fostering open channels for feedback, advocacy, and shared learning between platform teams and application engineers.
Organizing and facilitating developer enablement programs, knowledge-sharing sessions, and internal events promoting best practices in CI/CD, cloud-native development, and platform usage.
Acting as a visible ambassador for platform reliability and innovation, promoting a culture of transparency and collaborative problem-solving.
Mentoring and growing a high-performing platform engineering and DevOps team dedicated to developer experience and operational excellence.
Aligning internal platform strategy with organizational goals through close partnership with product, security, and engineering leadership.
Promoting thorough documentation, transparent knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in all areas of developer platform operations.
Staying at the forefront of cloud innovation, proactively evaluating and integrating emerging tools and approaches to enhance developer workflows
