Director of Pre-Sales

The Director of Pre-Sales is in charge of building and leading high-performing pre-sales and enterprise solution consultants, across all unifonic geographies. The Director of Pre-Sales is customer-focused, results-oriented, able to attract, develop and retain great talent. The Director of Pre-Sales is demonstrating excellent leadership qualities and is able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. It is essential that the Director of Pre-Sales has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style and excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. The responsibilities of the Director of Pre-Sales include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with Sales & the wider organization to identify opportunities & lead the discussions with customers to define innovative next-generation solutions for their business.
  • Manage & take a hands-on role in structured, detailed & compelling pre-sales engagements ensuring in-depth stakeholder engagement throughout long & complex sales cycles.
  • Assist the sales team to drive sales & profitability growth within the sector.
  • Build strong relationships at the "C" level and amongst key leaders within client organizations becoming a trusted advisor & thought leader.
  • Coordinate internal teams & resources to ensure strong planning & efficient execution of client projects.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between sales and product development teams to nurture deals through the sales process.
  • Recruit & manage a high-performing team of pre-sales & solution consultants.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest CPaaS industry trends and technologies and influence roadmap directions with product management.
  • Attend conferences & engage in public speaking to enhance wider recognition of the capabilities of the organization.
  • Drive technical sales engagement by collaborating with the sales team to build relationships with client technical stakeholders, running technical workshops and discussions.


Job requirements
  • Hands-on 10+ years of experience in the pre-sales space including managing teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other IT-related field is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication, stakeholders management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to manage diversified skillset teams and run cross-functional parallel initiatives.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets with Turnover of USD100 Million+.
  • Experience managing USD5m+ deals through the entire lifecycle.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining sight of the big picture, likes to get his/her hands dirty through execution.
