Our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team plays a crucial role in driving the early stages of the sales process by identifying and creating new business opportunities. SDRs are focused on outbound prospecting and building relationships with potential customers to uncover their needs and ensure a smooth hand-off to the sales team. We work closely with other departments to ensure our products and services meet the needs of our customers. As a Commercial Strategy & Revenue Manager, you will build and maintain a reliable revenue trajectory by gathering and analyzing data from pipeline inception to deal closure. This role will be responsible for mapping revenue generation across the customer lifetime value (CLV) and ensuring accurate forecasting in collaboration with the Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a keen eye for trends, and the ability to balance rational expectations with healthy skepticism. 

Help us shape the future of communications by:

  • Developing short- and mid-term rolling forecasts and mid- to long-term revenue trajectories in collaboration with Finance. 

  • Tracking and analyzing sales pipeline data from inception to closure, ensuring accurate revenue mapping. Particular attention to the conversion between the booking of sales and revenue forecasting. 

  • Mastering SaaS metrics and ratios: ARR, MRR, NDR or NRR, Churn Rates, CAC, CLV, Conversion Rates, Customer Engagement Score, Sales Pipeline Velocity, Sales Velocity, Burn Multiples, Months to Recover CAC, etc.

  • Defining sales objectives, monitoring conversion rates, and assessing sales performance to optimize revenue growth. 

  • Establishing models to predict revenue generation from acquired customers over their lifecycle. 

  • Providing actionable insights on sales trends, market dynamics, and revenue patterns to support strategic decision-making. 

  • Working closely with Finance to align revenue projections with business goals and assist Sales in refining strategies. 

  • Presenting findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on revenue expectations. 

Job requirements

What you will bring:

  • Over 10 years of professional experience, including more than 5 years in similar roles, with 5+ years of direct experience in revenue planning, sales analytics, and financial forecasting in a SaaS environment.

  • Proven ability to lead small but focused teams, drive revenue planning initiatives, and influence business decisions. 

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and revenue forecasting at a strategic level. 

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and effectively communicate trends to executives. 

  • Expertise in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and financial forecasting software. 

  • A balanced approach between rational expectations and genuine skepticism is needed to ensure realistic revenue projections. 

  • Ability to identify revenue bottlenecks and funnel underperformance and propose solutions to optimize financial outcomes. 

  • Deep understanding of SaaS industry trends, pricing models, and customer acquisition strategies. 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or any related field.
