Job description

The Sales Manager - SME is responsible for leading and motivating a team of Small/Medium Enterprise to create a sales culture and manage clients in a progressive way. The Sales Manager - SME is responsible for planning, implementing and directing the sales activities of the company in a designated area to achieve sales objectives, and targeting new businesses, providing continued support and recommendations to be made on how to further performance manage. The responsibilities of The Sales Manager - SME  include but not limited to:

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans 
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors 
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed 
  • Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies 
  • Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met 
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly 
  • Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals 
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them


  • Hands-on 5+ years recent experience in sales management role within different remote territories including Saudi Arabia and/or other countries, preferably in SaaS, Enterprise Software or tech related industry for a multinational company headquartered in Europe, United States or Canada
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other Business related field
  • Proven experience of inspirational Sales team leadership and sales target achievement; ideally within a business to business solutions provision environment in software or related industry
  • Proven track record of driving sales through an internal team to deliver new business though existing and new SME Customer base. Demonstrable successful record of exceeding performance targets
  • Practical understanding of the SME market place and its buying motivations
  • Ability to analyse complex data quickly and effectively; delivering pertinent summaries and recommendations
  • Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills
  • An analytical mind and problem solving attitude
  • Effective, proactive communicator with outstanding influencing and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English and Arabic with excellent writing/editing, verbal communication skills
