Job description

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, developing and achieving sales through the direct sales channel, focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business and writing business plans for all current and opportunity tender business, The Key Account Manager is responsible for building strong relationships with strategic clients and identifying needs and requirements to promote the company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.The responsibilities of The Key Account Manager include but not limited to:


  • Provide a regular reporting to ensure other team members as well as operations and corporate support are fully informed of the latest actions and information  
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve annual and quarterly targets and to expand the company’s customer base 
  •  Work with a multi-disciplinary team of colleagues to develop effective solutions and close plans for all qualified opportunities and drive their execution ·        
  •  Accurately forecast sales revenue and analyse your own key performance indicators, trends and results·         
  • Maintain and promote professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies both individually and across your team         
  • Network and build relationships within target accounts in order to understand key decision makers, and how we can help them evolve their business        
  • Understand buying/selling processes and negotiate access to key decision makers and facilitate meetings with executives       
  • Develop cooperative closing strategy and tactics with sales management  
  • Develop a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities within the defined territory that will enable you to meet or exceed quota    

Requirements

  • Hands-on 3+ years recent experience in sales management role within remotely territories including Saudi Arabia and/or other countries, preferably in SaaS, Enterprise Software or tech related industry
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other Business related field
  • Excellent territory development, lead generation and qualification skills
  • A strong understanding and experience of sales operations management and automation 
  • Experience in managing and directing a sales team
  • Effective, proactive communicator with outstanding influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills
