Meet the team!

At Unifonic, our Corporate Affairs team is managing the organization's external and internal communications, government relations, public policy, and regulatory compliance. This department ensures that the company's messaging aligns with its strategic goals and maintains a positive public image. 

As a Corporate Affairs Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's reputation and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


Help us shape the future of communications by:

  • Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments that could impact the company.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with policymakers, government officials, and industry groups.
  • Identifying and managing potential risks that could impact the company, including governmental regulations or compliance challenges.
  • Advocate for policies that benefit the organization, while mitigating risks from unfavorable proposals.
  • Preparing briefing materials, positioning papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing external consultants and lobbying firms as required.
  • Collaborating with other departments (Legal, Compliance, etc.) to coordinate policy positions and communications.
  • Representing the company at meetings, hearings, and industry events.

Job requirements

What you will bring:

  • Hands-on 5+ years of experience in corporate affairs or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement corporate communication strategies.
  • Strong understanding of public relations and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing corporate events.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with media outlets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
